Time of the Doctor: A Great Way For Matt Smith to go out

Christmas Day the BBC broadcasted “The Time of the Doctor on Doctor Who.” It was the last episode of the Matt Smith era. It was a truly action packed story that tied up loose ends for Smith’s time as the Doctor. It gave Matt Smith an opportunity to show a different side of his acting skills. Jenna Coleman, as Clara, was given the opportunity to be a hero again. My favorite regeneration story is still Peter Davison’s “The Caves of Androzoni,” but “The Time of the Doctor” is almost as good.
